ABOUT
Founded in 1927, Round Table groups meet all over Great Britain, Europe, and further afield, usually once a fortnight for either a social event, a fun activity, or to make a difference in the community.
Bideford Round Table is the 328th group to form in the UK, and we meet on the second and fourth Thursday evenings of each month, all year round.
Our social events can vary with activities such as rafting, axe throwing, beer tasting, wakeboarding, history tours, or just meeting up for a curry and a chat.
Fundraising for local charities is the essence of Round Table, with clubs in the UK raising over £4 million a year for local communities and good causes, whilst volunteering more than 160,000 hours.
Bideford Round Table raised over £10,000 last year through donations made during our annual Santa Sleigh in the run up to Christmas, and our drive-in cinema evenings throughout the year.
Round Table is open to men aged 18-45, with the wider Round Table family open to women (Ladies Circle) and older male and female members (41 Club and Tangent).
